How much treatment do you actually need?

And how much are you actually getting for your money?

Like.. how well can you actually expect it to work when you say, put 12 panels in your room?

As it turns out, that's not an easy question to answer. At least not for your typical small home studio where statistical acoustics quickly goes out the window.
